This property located in the heart of San Diego’s Normal Heights neighborhood, was acquired in December of 1999 for $550,000. The two-story building consisted of nine residential units upstairs and approximately 7,000 square feet of ground-floor restaurant/retail space. L.W.P. Group redeveloped Wilkinson Block into a signature mixed-use property in an urban, residential area. The development plan included extensive construction and remodeling of the exterior façade. Subsequently, the residential units were leased, and a travel-related company signed to occupy the remaining 5,280 square feet on the ground floor. In July of 2002 the property was sold for $2,100,000.
