L.W.P. Group’s maiden venture into the popular lifestyle hotel industry began in late-2006 with the acquisition of this property, the former Sportsman’s Lodge Motel. Located in historic Point Loma, one block from San Diego Bay, the property was shut down for renovation and repositioning as The Pearl, a stylish, 23-room boutique hotel. The property opened mid-summer 2007 and features a restaurant and bar, as well as poolside nightlife events. Total project cost estimate is $4.3 million, while stabilized/appraised value was in excess of $6.5 million.
